Nantucket at Heron Bay

Designer: Sandy Heifner, Contemporary 1880
Architect: Sullivan Bruck Architects

This outstanding shoreline home is filled with interest in architecture and the premier site allows views of the lake from almost every room. The interior design focuses on sunshine colors and soft pretty prints and textures as requested by the homeowner.

We chose many different patterns for each of the sofas and chairs and the room features a huge fireplace and a hearth filled with shells. Many of the accessories selected have a coastal theme including the pond boat over the fireplace, the antique model ship in the foyer and the collection of ship prints hung over the staircase to the lower level. The two story room is accented with a Dana Creath chandelier and situated in one corner toward the water is a reading grouping with a painted Habersham chest and comfortable chairs in Brunschwig fabrics. Beautiful lamps adorn every table.

The dining room and kitchen are open to each other with a bar and counter area separating the functions. The dining table sits in an enormous bay window and is shown off with floral fabric chairs from Pearson. The centerpiece is a large funky common frog.

The homeowners have now chosen to add to the theme by adding a lighthouse tower and another guest room.
